1.93 Crashing on launch after crash while updating

Hi folks,
New to the forums, veteran of torrents, so - Hello!
As for the issue - I chose to update Transmission to 1.93 via the update checker and it crashed during that update (similar to this user) . I logged out and back in, launched Transmission and it crashes. Decided to try downloading the .dmg from the site and installing that, to no avail; the app continues to crash upon launch, and I can't figure out what to fix. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Update:

I did some snooping around in the Application Support folder and trashed the "Transfers.plist" (well, actually I just moved it out of the enclosing folder).
Now, Transmission launches, however, I'm obviously missing all the transfers previously running. Is there a way to modify the [original] .plist file so that I don't have to go through with the painful prospect of adding and rehashing >1,000 transfers? I hope so. Let me know if it would help to post the .plist here.

Hey folks - 1.9.3 is now still crashing - it seems like any number of torrents over 100 makes it crash - can't even add torrents! That's pitiful - 1.9.2 never, ever crashed - with over 1,000 torrents active!

Please, I beg of you, help!!

Just another update - Transmission is continuing to crash here, whether torrents are added manually, dragged and dropped or when the automatic feature is used (checking a specific folder). Still can't figure out what is wrong, but I think I am going back to 1.9.2 for now.

I was having the exact same problem. I have reverted to 1.9.2 and have had no more problems, but this is hopefully something "they" will want to fix in subsequent releases.
