Interested but Choked
Interested but Choked
I am sure this question has been asked by thousands of newbies, but I can't seem to find a clear explanation anywhere else, so I'm coming to you guys. Can someone explain to me why my client would not want to download from a peer who is willing to upload? Is it simply that I have reached the top end of my broadband provider's bandwidth allowance and I can't at that moment download from any other peers, or is my client intentionally choking certain downloads for reasons unknown to me?
Re: Interested but Choked
You've got it the wrong way around: a peer is "choked" when we don't want to send it data.

Trasmission limit its download slots in some wacky way, there is nothing you can do about . The stats provided, like 'dUEI', are misleading, if not wrong and should not be trusted.

What do you consider misleading about the stats?
