making public torrent to send a large file

hey,
i've used torrent sites with trackers before, but i'm trying to make a 'public' torrent to send a 2.38 GB file and send someone the link. this is just a private file transfer, i don't need to put it up on a 'category' torrent site

i hosted torrent with tracker.openbittorent.com:80 and with tracker.mytorrenttracker.com:6099

but i don't know how to send a 'link' to someone that they can download.

i have a 'hash mark' i don't know how to give the link to someone in a way they can use it.

I believe it is simple.
Here is how I would do it:

Pick a file to share, then find as many as possible public trackers and add them to the torrent you are planning to share, this will ensure that if one tracker goes down you still going to be ok. Now you generate .torrent and start sharing file in your BT client. Take generated .torrent and email it to someone you want to receive file. Don't forget to keep seeding

If all you are trying to do is send a large file to someone private then try Binfer. It works really well for private file sharing.
