launch transmission without a user logged in

Hello,
i've installed transmission on my Snow Leopard Server.

The question is: can I launch transmission without having to be logged on as a user (i.e. I power up my server, it boots, and Transmission is launched).

The next question is: would a feature like "torrent watch" work?

Yes, just install and set up transmission-daemon properly. Somebody has recommended using Launchd as "the default/preferred way of running daemons on a mac." I don't think there is a detailed guide to do things on Mac, you'll probably will have to build the daemon from source.

Yes, if enabled (in the daemon parameters or its settings.json) and the watch directory is set up.
