Hi guys. I'm using a Mac running 10.4. I have been downloading with transmission for years, and one day (yesterday), my downloads just stopped downloading. I thought at first I had a couple slow torrents, but then I checked out some torrents with thousands of seeders that obviously would at least START, and nothing is happening. 0 of 0 peers on all my torrents. And my internet is working just fine (surfing on firefox no problem). I have my firewall turned off.
Any ideas?

What version of transmission are you using? (The last version that works on 10.4 is 1.54.)
Also, are the trackers on your torrents announcing? Some public trackers are known for timing out, and since 1.54 doesn't have DHT, that could be why you're not seeing/connecting to any peers.

I've been having the same problem for the past day or two. I'm running the most current version of Transmission, 2.04, on a Mac with OX 10.5.8. Any idea why?
