ReadyNAS version asking for log/pass?

Post by Flemming »

A weird one (methinks). I've installed the transmission add-on on my new Netgear ReadyNAS Duo but when I try to access the interface via the ReadyNAS Installed Add-Ons page, I'm asked for a user name and password – and neither the Duos admin nor user log/pass works. Anyone has any suggestions?

First look at the password configuration in settings.json. Does it match what you're seeing? You could try killing transmission-daemon, then editing settings.json by hand, and then restarting the daemon.

If that doesn't work, look for another copy of settings.json on your box -- maybe ReadyNAS uses a different configuration directory and transmission-daemon set up another settings.json there.

Did you try user: transmission, pass: transmission?
