Info: I'm running Transmission 2.13 on OSX 10.6.6, and I have a slight issue with when external harddrives get unplugged due to power issues and other misshaps. I then get the "Error: No data found! Reconnect any disconnected drives, use 'Move Data File To…', or restart the torrent to re-download." error, and I then have to re-check all my torrents by hand. For me that means using "Move Data File To…" for every file and pointing it in the right direction. This might not be that time consuming if one has a few files, but I'm a good seeder so I have a fair deal of torrents that I have to do this with (not to mention that I sort things deep into folder mazes, so it isn't a simple "point to one folder, done" process).
My Request: I just want Transmission to remember where the file was last (or a setting that I could check so that it saves it to a file somewhere). If it already does this then this might be a bug (since I have well over 1000 transfers it could just be too much), but in that case it should still be able to save the info somewhere and look it up in the case of such an error. That way all I have to do is tell it "Hey, just re-check the files now and you'll see that they are there" saving me a lot of time.
I apologize if this has already been requested. I did a quick search, but I'm kinda short on time…

Version 2.20 will handle disconnected drives much better.

If what you say is true then I will be forever greatfull. Transmission is already so good to me, but this will make it super-awesome! I really appreciate all the effort that has gone into this project, it is all that want a torrent client to do, and it also has a very pleasing UI. :big.thumbs.up:
edit: I just checked out the 2.20b3 info, and it looks sweet. I'll give it a thourough test when I get home. Thanks for the info!
