I'm not sure why I don't see anyone else with this problem, but I upgraded from 2.13 to 2.20 a few days ago. However, when I started it I could see it was connecting to the trackers but did not start downloading. I went back to 2.13 and it worked fine. I even tried the latest "stable" build from last night and it still would not download. I can see no difference in the Preferences between the two versions.
Anyone else have the same problem?

Re: Transmission 2.20 does not download
I am experiencing the same issue. I assumed it was a port forwarding issue so I tried placing my comp in the DMZ with my router software but that didn't work either. As soon as I went back a version everything worked just fine.

Re: Transmission 2.20 does not download
I find that double-clicking on torrents bring Transmission 2.2 to the front, but no download files are added.

Re: Transmission 2.20 does not download
I'm having exactly the same problem, in one instance I have a torrent that's found 60 peers and still hasn't commenced downloading.
The port is open, I've checked that, but it just won't start

Re: Transmission 2.20 does not download
Worse for me: When I open the .torrent, Transmission comes to the foreground but nothing is added to the download window *at all*
