All of a sudden, using 2.2.2 (12099) when I try to download the blocklist that I have been downloading successfully for months and months (http://www.bluetack.co.uk/config/level1.gz) no longer down loads.
The following error message:
Download of the blocklist failed
no permission to read file
Tried 2.3b1 (12294) and the same problem occurred.
Tried 2.11 (11322) and the blocklist download (blocklist URL was built in with that version) was successful.
Is there something I need to do with bluetack.co.uk to allow read permission? Or is there another source for the same blocklist? Am I using the wrong URL?
Any advice, please?

Re: Another blocklist download problem
Again to add to my original post, when I say it no long downloads let me say that it no longer downloads within the Transmission Preference panel.

Re: Another blocklist download problem
Sorry x109, you answer was a bit too criptic for me.
I copy the URLs that you responding with into the preference pane for downloading the blocklist and the response I got was that it was an invalid link.
So could you spend just a moment or two more and say more precisely what I should with the URLs that you provided.
I have also looked at the blocklist website you provided and it makes confuses me. I can download a blocklist but I do not know how to integrate it into Transmission.

Re: Another blocklist download problem
@Passion: I just tried out something that I didn't believe would work and it actually did.
Go to x190's last link, http://www.iblocklist.com/lists.php
Notice on the right column where it says Update URL (I used level1, the link on the column is http://list.iblocklist.com/?list=bt_level1). Copy the URL there and paste it (without changing anything) into the Blocklist field within Transmission. It will start downloading the list from there. I was actually looking for a list as well since the link I used to have doesn't work anymore, and this fixes my problem ^^

Re: Another blocklist download problem
Thanks for the help from all.
x109, that second URL, when I clicked on it, returned "Illegal download attempt"
