I've been seeding this stuff over a week now so I think it's had time for the tracker to work ?
I'm running Mac 10.6.7 on a mac pro 2gb duel core with 10GB memory
it would be nice to know why this is like this

Hello I think I have a problem , my ratio was 4.84 then I downloaded a 340.9 MB file , up-loaded 4.79GB (Ratio 14.0 ) then I downloaded another file 1.47GB , up-loaded 3.32GB ( Ratio 2.25 ) then I downloaded another fill 733MB , up-loaded 4.28 GB ( Ratio 5.83 ) yet my overall Ratio is 4.77 still lower than when I started ???? THIS CAN'T BE RIGHT ????

lets see 341 + 733 = 1074 or 1 GB +1.47 = 2.47 GB total downloaded now 4.79 GB = 3.32 GB = 8.11 GB +4.28 = 12.39 GB so I downloaded 2 1/2 GB and up loaded 12 1/4 GB but my ratio is lower than when I started and thats what you are saying is right ?

Just out of curiosity, what do you mean when you say "...my ratio was 4.84"? Is this a ratio reported by Transmission or by some private tracker?

The ratio show in trans. window , I no it only .10 but my point is if I download a file I have to up load 4 to 6 times to get back to where my ratio was in the trans. window ? Now I not sure I'm kinda new at this but it seems to me just for numbers if my ratio is 0 and I download a 1 gb file my ratio is -1 if I up load 1 gb I should be back to 0 if I upload 2 gb that would make my ratio +1 would it not ? my only concern is having to seed 4 to 6 times my download to stay even ?

Thanks for the math lesson , by what you said I up-loaeded a total of 12.39 GB / by 2.47 downloaded = ratio 5.016 for this only
so why when I started the above trans said my ratio was 4.84 and when I gave up trying to get it back where it was in the window I was still not there after doing the above ? I was at 4.77 according to transmission ? it works I guess I should be happy that I just can't seem to make the numbers work
