I am currently using transmission-daemon 2.13 with transmission-remote-gui on a debian machine. It is working great, with one minor annoyance. Whenever I move or delete torrents with data, the files themselves are removed but the top-level folder is left. I use the "directory for incomplete files" setting, and these ghost folders are also left there after the torrent has finished and has moved to my completed torrents folder.
Example. I download a torrent that has 5 .deb (debian package) files which are saved inside of a folder named "Debian Utilities." I then install the packages, and through transmission-remote-gui delete the torrent and it's data. I then open up a terminal and look at the folders when the data was. There are then two empty folders entitled "Debian Utilities," one in my incomplete data folder, and one in my completed torrents folder. I then delete them manually from the command line.
While it's not that hard to look for empty folders and delete them, it is rather annoying, and unless I am missing some setting, I feel that this should be an easy problem to fix. Thanks for your help!
Empty folders remain on torrent move/delete
Re: Empty folders remain on torrent move/delete
Any resolution on this? I'm seeing the same thing.
