Web intrfaice fails with error decoding JSON.

I have a transmission daemon on FreeBSD box (installed from ports) and I use web interface remotely.
I added a torrent file to download and the web interface failed immediately with a message "error decoding JSON".
Daemon runs and it downloaded the new torrent but web interface still fails.
How to debug it? I didn't find any log for transmission web interface.

Version?

Its probably version 2.31 which introduced a problem in jQuery; strange thing is the error message, nobody reported that one, just that it didn't work right on some browsers.
