Where in Transmission to add proxy server info?
Where in Transmission to add proxy server info?
I am using a Mac v10.6.8, downloading at home has never been an issue, works great. At work though it never downloads at all and I know it is because of the proxy server my work has. I have to change my computer from 'home' setting to 'work' setting anytime I change places. I have been looking through the transmission preferences to find an area to enter my works proxy info but there isn't any. Am I blind or how can I get around this to allow my computer to download while at work? Thanks for any help.

There isn't any.
The last version of Transmission to have a proxy feature was version 2.11. I'm still using 2.11 specifically for this reason.
With any newer version the (misguided) developers assume you can just use System Preferences > Network to assign a proxy to your entire system. Frankly, it was a huge step backwards to remove this feature set. If I were you... I'd use Vuse or any other bit torrent client which proxy settings for it's app.
