Hello,
I am using transmission on a mac. When I right click the icon on the dock it comes up with a list of previous downloads.
How do I clear this? I have tried everything.
How do I remove all history of downloads?

Re: How do I remove all history of downloads?
Thanks for the reply, have read that thread, but it still doesn't solve my problem.
I have cleared the --->Open recent list
however when I right click on the transmission icon, there is still a list of previous downloads.
Any other advice?

I'm having the same issue, which I asked here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11993
Doesn't seem like a transmission problem, but, any ideas?

Re: How do I remove all history of downloads?
After a few weeks of this and I just found the solution
I did it by using the application "appzapper" to locate all the files associated with Transmission (this also worked for VLC's list), without going ahead and zapping the program of course. Now that I know where the file resides, I won't need to use Appzapper anymore, and neither would you. Here's how you do it:
1) Go into root directory >> library >> preferences
2) Find the file "org.m0k.transmission.LSSharedFileList.plist"
3) Delete it.
I am not a power user on OSX by any means so I have no idea if this affects stability of the program or not. I did look inside the file to verify it was just a list of filenames, which it was. To clarify, deleting it certainly gets rid of the recent file list that appears when you
a) right click on the dock icon
b) go into the "application window" space on OSX lion
ciao~

Re: How do I remove all history of downloads?
Hi thanks I have removed it using appzaper, but for some reason I can't find that file in
root directory >> library >> preferences
It obviously exists because using app zapper to delete it has solved the problem, I'm not sure why I can't find it manually though?
