Thanks for reporting this crash. Two questions:

1. Is this behavior repeatable? If so, could you walk me through how to trigger the crash?

2. Does the crash occur when you run a nightly build from https://build.transmissionbt.com/job/trunk-mac/ ? If so, please post a crash report from that build; it would be very helpful.

I have the same problem but continuously.

I can't do anything. Any action, add file, selecting folder, view preferences, sort list, etc, Transmission crash.

I did uninstall process four times but crash occur again.

Please see the attached report file. (can't add the file here)

Any help?

the beta Transmission crashed constantly on OSX 10.7 but the previous version works fine. I retrieved one of the crash report, hope it helps and thank you, nice software!

The last two bug reporters in this thread have said that it crashed and that they have a crash report, but haven't shared them. People, the developers need to be able to read the crash report if you want us to help.

OS X collects two pieces of crash information that can help us fix the crash:

In Console.app, look under LOG FILES > ~/Library/Logs/ > CrashReporter > for Transmission. If you find one, include it in your forum post.

In Console.app, select LOG DATABASE QUERIES > Console Messages, and search for Transmission. If you find a message that mentions an assertion failure, include it in your forum post.

If these two pieces of information are too large for your forum post, Paste them at http://pastebin.com/, click the "one month" and "send" buttons, and include the pastebin's URL in your forum post.
