Options not documented

Post by simonbcn »

Hi,
Several options are undocumented or poorly documented. One better documentation of these options would help to improve the configuration of this great program.
For example:
  • "cache-size-mb"
  • "download-queue-enabled" / "download-queue-size" / "seed-queue-enabled" / "seed-queue-size": It's a new option in last version but I don't understand its utility.
  • "encryption": 1 = Preferred encryption but is 0 = Preferred unencrypted? I would unencrypted connections as preferred but I don't want discard the encrypted connections.
  • "prefetch-enabled"
  • "queue-stalled-enabled" / "queue-stalled-minutes"
Regards.

By other side, in "Editing Configuration Files" documentation specifies that the option "open-file-limit" is a legacy option of <= 2.31 but I have execute the new Transmission (with an empty configuration folder) and it has created this option in config file settings.json. Is it really a legacy option? Is it really used or not this option in the latest version?
