seed problem transmission-daemon

Post by lled »

I have set up a bittorrent tracker for my local network, and transmission-daemon is used as main seeder. The peers can download from it, but sometimes they can't.

The problem is that sometimes transmission-daemon is seeing peers in the list during some seconds, and he's disappearing without sending him datas. But when i'm restarting transmission-daemon, it's working !
By the way i've noticed an other strange behavior : When i'm trying to download the same file twice from the same peer, the second try never works (i'm just seeing the peer during some seconds yet, and I have to reboot transmission-daemon between the tries )

Do you have a solution ?
Thank you ;)
Anthony

PS : I'm using transmission 2.50 on ubuntu 10.04.I just would like to specify that all peers and seeder are in the same subnetwork (no router between them)

I have the same error
Debian 6.0.3
Transmission 2.03 (11030)

Localnet, 1 seed, 100 peers: After start of transmission-daemon all peers download ok
If transmission-daemon already sent data to peer, and peer wont to redownload it - transmission-daemon disconnect him
