Binding to address fails.

Post by sona1111 »

Hello, i have a rather complicated network but i wont go into explaining every detail unless its needed. I have a web server connected to two modems (two routers are also in between), almost everything runs on one connection, br0. The other connection, eth11, has a static ip of 192.168.2.80. I am simply trying to run transmission-daemon on the second network interface while the rest of the server continues to run as normal with br0. (the reason for this is so that users on the br0 network can access the web gui)

From what i understand the way one goes about this is to set the ipv4 bind address to 192.168.2.80 while leaving the rpc bind address at 0.0.0.0. However it still transmits torrents on the br0 interface. How would i go about fixing this?
