Transmission stops after few secs

Hi all,

I have an Ubuntu machine (12.04 LTS) with transmission on it. I want to use it via command line, so I installed:
- transmission-cli
- transmission-remote
- transmission-daemon

I am able to add a torrent using transmission-remote.
It then runs for seconds, downloads a couple of MB and then stops.

Where do I start to check for errors?

This is the error i received:

Scrape error: Could not connect to tracker (announcer.c:1255)

I guess it is not the tracker, because I was able to download the file with transmission-gtk.

How do I fix the problem?
