This is a Transmission problem.

I like Transmission. I sincerely do and I hope this issue it resolved so I can go on using Transmission but the simple fact is I do not have this error with uTorrent with the same torrent.

I got this error for the first time ever after using transmission for about a year. From my experience and reading earlier posts it seems like this error only occurs when downloading a large torrent with many files. How many? Couldn't says but it is happening for me and it's so annoying. it's a 4G torrent with over 4000 files. So that is something that has to be fixed. It's been an issue for a long time. Someone needs to look into it. Thanks.

I guess that one of the icon shell extensions or icon overlay extensions has a leak.
