Switch Destination Folder for Downloaded Content
Switch Destination Folder for Downloaded Content
I have OS X, and whenever I download a torrent, the torrent file can be found along with the downloaded music itself. I would like for the music to automatically be transferred to a file different from downloads. I can't find anything on here about it. I want to make downloading as easy as I can so that I can just click download on the site and it can be found in my itunes library after downloading. Thanks!
Re: Switch Destination Folder for Downloaded Content
Hey, I'm just running around answering questions so that maybe I get one on mine too
Alrighty, so first open up Transmission's preferences, then select Groups. Make a new group, or select one you're not using, and click Custom location. iTunes has a folder called "Automatically add to iTunes" by default, you'll find it in your iTunes media folder, select it. Then choose "Assign group to new transfers based on criteria". Set it up so that it reads "Any file ends with .mp3". I haven't tried this personally, but it should work
If not, try messing around with the criteria.
