Set peer listening port from command line?

Post by theboyk »

Does anyone know if it's possible to set the peer listening port (of the regular Mac GUI) from the command line? My VPN provider randomizes my port forwarding per session, which I can pull via the command line, so I'd like to be able to then pass it on to Transmission automatically. Thing is, not sure how to set the port in Transmission via the CL (or, even if it's possible)? LIke, possibly write to a plist or something?
Thanks,
Kristin.

Yea, I'd actually found the documentation on editing the plist, but I appreciated your reply none-the-less! I'd actually thought I'd deleted the post. :)
