4 questions about how it all works.
1. I have noticed that in the tracker information tab sometimes a tracker will say something like "2 seeds" and "3 leechers" but there are no peer connections in the torrent window. Why does this happen and how does it work?
2. When a torrent is slow or dead, i often google the hash number with the word "trackers" and i find sites that have other trackers for the torrent. When i add them sometimes it will speed up the torrent. Can you get too many trackers?
3. Mostly these trackers are the same ones for various torrents. tracker.example.com, Openbittorent.com, Istole.it, ... So why do they need to be added separately for each torrent? Why does not Transmission maintain a central list of trackers and check them all for slow or dead torrents?
4. When i publish a torrent notice on tracker.example.com what software adds, which trackers to the torrent notice?
