hello everyone was wondering if anyone can help me out.
every port has been working fine have never had a problem(was using modem and wireless router in one from ISP)but today was the day i was switching internet providers so i set up my new modem with my wireless router(Cisco E2500) and it connected fine no problem but i noticed my speeds weren't even close to what i was getting before so i called my new ISP thinking it was there doing but then i realized every single port was closed so i went searching through forums and narrowed it down to "portfowarding" but the port still doesn't work i have tried multiple ports and nothing works
if any one could help me please do very very frustrating

Re: help transmission port closed even after port forwarding
Have you configured the E2500 correctly?
UPnP is not enabled by default. You have 2 options: enable it (Administration section), or map the port manually (in the Games & Applications section) -- which is probably what you mean by "after port forwarding", but did you use the correct (peer) port number?
The "speeds" have little to do with port open, or closed. See the FAQ: Slow Speeds
