Many problems since latest update

Hi.
I'm a big fan of transmission, but since the latest update (2.83), I have two big problems:
1. I can't add any torrent, it says it's corrupted or something, reverting back to v2.82 seeemed to have fixed the problem as the very same torrent file works flawlessly on it.
2. Since this afternoon, I can't even start the app. At all. It just jumps on my dock and never launches. Restarting my Mac mini, fixing permissions etc did nothing, nor re-installing v2.83 despite its huge flaw on my Mac.

I did that already. It fixed the startup problem, but not the "invalid data" error when adding a torrent.

Hey guys, with the new update (2.83), it always pop's up "are you sure you want to connect etc" just like it wasn't signed or something. 2.82 does not do that.
