Build Transmission-daemon on raspberry

Hi,latest transmission-daemon version on raspbian jessie is 2.84.
Even in Debian jessie,latest transmission-daemon version is 2.84.
So i was thinking how to build transmission-daemon on my Raspberry Pi 2.
The wiki page gives info about build on Debian Squeeze.
But Raspbian Jessie is based on Debian jessie (too old) & the wiki also feels old.
Can anyone give info about building transmission-daemon 2.92 on raspberry pi 2??

Just built 2.92 on an Odroid C1. That is Ubuntu so it is probably a little different. It actually went smoothly. I only had to install one library/package. But I had previously built 2.84 and had to install quite a few packages before it was complete.

It was pretty much run "make", check the error messages, figure out the missing package, install it (apt-get install), repeat. Nothing very tricky but then that used to be my day job.

Does in 2.92 queue is preserved?(i mean no random sorting of queue after restart ?)

No, the queue order is not preserved. It does not even default to date added.
