Transmission remotely from android

I was wondering what the best way is to remotely control transmission from my HTC Desire?
What i'm hoping to do from my desire is, to download torrents and then in some way upload the torrent files to my transmission client, and of course to have full control over transmission

I hope it is not too much i ask for, but i hope it is possible in some way.

Oh yeah, i probably should've written that i've tried that, but when trying to add a local torrent file on the Desire nothing happens :/
