Hello. I'm using Transmission 2.04 on Ubuntu 10.10. I was wondering if there is a way to do this.
I usually have about 10-20 torrents running, with 3 or 4 "Finished" (my seed ratio limit is 2.00). Sometimes I want to "Pause All" to use my bandwidth for other things, then later "Start All" to resume the torrents. However, if I "Start All", it also restarts the torrents that are "Finished" and gets rid of their seeding limit, which is not what I want.
Is there a way to "Start All" of the torrents that are not "Finished", while not restarting the ones that have reached their seeding limit? I can do it manually, but that's annoying.
Thanks.
How to Start All except for Finished
Re: How to Start All except for Finished
i wonder if this has something to do with this bug:
https://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/3453
which was fixed in the TR 2.10 release.

Okay thanks, I didn't realize there is a PPA. 2.04 is the version in the main Ubuntu (Maverick) repositories. I've now upgraded to 2.12 (https://launchpad.net/~transmissionbt/+archive/ppa).x190 wrote:I would suggest upgrading to the latest version which is 2.12. However, the issue still remains. Maybe there should be a "Start Unfinished" menu option?
