Web Interface comes up blank

I installed Transmission on XBMC Live machine, which is based on Ubuntu 10. This version comes with Transmission 1.96 I needed the "watch directory" feature, so I added the Launchpad repository and upgraded to 2.13. Everything worked fine for a while. After some time, I think after a reboot, web interface stopped showing any torrents. The daemon still works, downloading files from .torrents in the "watch directory", but I can't see them in the web interface. I tried to enable debug with "transmission-daemon --log-debug" command, but /var/log/transmission file is still empty. Not sure how to troubleshoot further. Both daemon and Clutch indicate v2.13.

Just to clarify: by blank you mean the whole page is white, or just the list of torrents is empty.

If it is the first case, then there is an error and we can see how to find what it is later.

But if it is the second case, then you just simply ran the daemon under different users, which implies different configurations and specifically the config directory where the daemon keeps its list of torrents.

The list of torrents is empty, the interface itself is OK. Your suggestion is probably correct, I'll work in this direction.
