I was wondering why Transmission 2.22 is using vmnet-natd.
I have VMWare Fusion installed, but it is not running. Still vmnet-natd which is part of VMWFusion keeps popping up, making connections, when Transmission is started and running.
1. Why is this so and
2. how can I stop this in the client
Currently I use a

sudo killall -9 vmnet-natd
I don't think it is a security problem, still I would feel more comfy if Transmission would not use the vmnet-natd
