My POHD player was working excellent with PlayOn!X until i had a mishap with my hard drive and lost around 900GB of music, films, photos etc...
So i bought a new 2TB drive, fitted it today, installed the latest release of PO!X (rev 5.1), RSS, Optware etc... and have managed to get transmission running BUT... that's as far as it goes.
I cannot get it to download to the internal hard drive. After a few seconds it stops and gives the error that the data isn't there on the drive. I presume it's trying to save it to one of the smaller partions on the drive, that's meant for the running of the Playon!x software.
Any help will be greatly appreciated as i've been getting stressed over this for two days so far. I have tried reflashing POHD several times, reformatting hdd several times. I seem to have everything working apart from a download location.
BTW i know nothing at all about linux, so if any scripts need changing, please give me very simple, clear instructions on how to do it.
Thanks in advance

Re: PlayOn!x transmission woes
Thanks for the reply, but none of that was any use to me.
The json files says the download directory is home/transmission but they dont exist. Do you think it might be trying to save onto one of the small linux partitions instead of the main ntfs one ? If so - how can i redirect it to the correct one ?
As i said before - i nothing about linux/unix so i'd need clear precise instructions

Re: PlayOn!x transmission woes
That would be the obvious thing to do, but does not help.
I managed to fix it last night. The hard drive was not being formatted correctly so i had to roll back to a previous version of playon, format then reinstall latest version and it worked again.
BUT - having been on all night, it now says "Error: No such file or directory" against all of the downloads, and the "incomplete" folder is empty. It is managing to seed though.
Any idea's ?
Anyone ?
