I know that everything in life is both subjective and relative, anyhow I really do think that the new Web UI introduced in 2.50 is a lot less aesthetically polished, mature and well designed as it used to be. I really feel like there was a HUGE regression with that new UI.
In order to be constructive, here are my critics:
- The buttons have that (new?) unrefined violet gradient.
- A gear AND a wrench at the bottom of the window ? Really ?! In the next version why wouldnt you had a hammer, an engine, a control panel ... and a single button for each and every option.
- I want a clean light blue for the selected row (violet again).
- The new icon to get the compact view is a no-no.
- Every icons in the bottom area are too black and rough.
- The filter textbox is HUGE and as a hideous bevel and emboss styling (is someone having some photoshop 5.0 nostalgia ?)
Well that's mostly it for the critics

Am I the only one here thinking that the Web UI is taking a wrong turn ?

On the bright side I must say that even if I am a CLI lover I do like to use the web frontend, so PLEASE make me continue to love this nice piece of software.
PS: I do like transmission even if on both linux and osx it does make systems crawl for no apparent reason (meaning without any cpu nor I/O shortage)
