Queuing problem

Post by VelvetMirror »

I have added the following options to my settings.json:

"download-queue-enabled": true,
"download-queue-size": 2,
"queue-stalled-enabled": true,
"queue-stalled-minutes": 5,

Then I closed transmission and restart it again, but there is no queuing still, i.e., it starts downloading all 5 torrents I have instead of only just two and queuing the other three.

Any ideas why this is happening?

1) you have to stop transmission, then edit settings.json, and then start it again or the changes won't persist. from your post you did changes while it was running and did a re-start, which doesn't work.

2) queuing in Linux is only supported for Transmission versions 2.40 or greater.
