Ensure Completion of Torrents

I've had a couple of instances in the past where torrents show as completed but pieces are missing. I have a script that runs on completion and this negatively affects the scripts ability to process the file(s) accordingly. Is there anyway to check that the size/pieces downloaded is in-fact 100% in my script?
