Good evening,
I have created and seeded several torrents while I saved and backuped torrent files as well as seeded files.
After the reinstallation of the OS I would like to continue to be seeding these files. Several of them cannot be downloaded as apparently, I am the only one who seeded them.
How I can I do it? When I simply open the torrent I cannot seed it as it tries to download files first despite I have them already saved on my HDD in the same folder from which I have always seeded them.
Thanks for help.
Peter
how to reseed torrents?
Re: how to reseed torrents?
I have created a little set of tools to help with this.

It copied the magnet link and the torrent file into the download folder for you. If it is a single file with no folder, it creates a folder for you. Super convenient when you reinstall your os. Unfortunately it is linux only at the moment. if it fits your needs. you can always install tranmission in a vm.
