what to expect with the scheduling preference?

hi,

have looked at wiki and can't find
anyone dealing with this..

as i always max out my peak download allowance,
i need to start using the schedule preference.

my offpeak starts at 2.00am and goes till 10.00am everyday.

i fooled around with it, but couldn't seem to get a designated time to absolutely stop downloading and a time to make it startup.

can someone advise me on how to properly set it, so i can forget it, and not incur any more peaktime downloads?
