Transmission Checks Existing Data Every Time...
My problem is that sometimes when I take out my external hard drive and put it back in, transmission checks existing data. Most of my torrents are over 1GB so this takes forever. Is there any way to make transmission stop doing this? Any help would be great,
Thanks

Re: Transmission Checks Existing Data Every Time...
I just downloaded a nightly build and I will see if it works.

Nope doesn't work.
Re: Transmission Checks Existing Data Every Time...
I tried that and still not working, I even paused the downloads without taking out my external hard drive and when I resume it still checks existing data!

Any help guys?
Re: Transmission Checks Existing Data Every Time...
I'll try all of this when I get home.
Re: Transmission Checks Existing Data Every Time...
Where do I find the cache and plist files?
Re: Transmission Checks Existing Data Every Time...
There's also ~/Library/Preferences/org.m0k.transmission.plist
Re: Transmission Checks Existing Data Every Time...
My computer doesn't have any of those files. I don't even have the transmission folder in application support and preferences.
Re: Transmission Checks Existing Data Every Time...
That's weird. How is it that you installed Transmission and how are you running it?
This is because all the files mentioned are kept by the system to keep track things related to the application (preferences, downloads, etc).

Re: Transmission Checks Existing Data Every Time...
I used the dmg and dragged transmission to my applications folder. I run it from there..
