Hello,
I run transmission daemon on my personnal little server.
I install it with emerge on gentoo. The version is the 1.61.
I have a problem when i reboot my computer or when i restart the daemon. My torrents disapear in the web interface. I have to re-uploaded the torrent files in order to restart downloading the files.
Thank you for your answer.

Same problem here.
Any solutions yet. Just did a yum update. All other settings work well.

Re: transmission-daemon torrents disapear after restart
I'm having the same problem running 1.82 on a SheevaPlug with a headless Debian Squeeze build. The specific symptom that I am seeing is that whenever adding a torrent by URL (either in the WebUI or through transmission-remote) the .torrent file never gets saved anywhere. Also, when I restart the daemon or reboot the SheevaPlug, the WebUI comes up blank. I'm assuming this is because it is not saving it's current state out before it shuts down. Torrents that are in the watch folder and were active are not picked up on daemon restart.
Is it expected behavior for adding by URL to not save a .torrent file and for transmission-daemon to not save its previous state on restart?
To summarize, I'd like to:
1. Run transmission-daemon at start-up -> Complete
2. Move default watch, incomplete, and download to External NTFS drive -> Complete
3. Be able to start torrents from WebUI -> Complete
4. Have WebUI (or transmission-remote) save .torrent file when adding by URL -> Not working
5. Have transmission-daemon remember what it was doing after a daemon restart or after rebooting machine -> Not working

Re: transmission-daemon torrents disapear after restart
So I fixed this by making a symbolic link to the torrent and resume folders out to my External. Now the .torrents from the WebUI are saved and .resume files are created. Wahoooo!

Hi.
Can you describe how you did this.
My resume thing is still not resolved... My english is not that good either.
What did you symbolic link to? The torrent is symlinked in the "watch" directory so that it reloads?
Thanks for the help.
