I recently started messing with torrents etc and my first client ever is Transmission 1.72 on Mac OS X 10.5.7.
Currently using Transmission 1.73 (8832)
I admit that the issue I am having might not related to Transmission at all but with OS X.
When I start seeding currently with 9 transfers I see 750k uploads after x amount of time
perhaps 8 hours (Sleep) I check my computer and highest upload is 150k or so. I tried pausing
and quiting transmission and reopening app and after a few minutes speeds are 150k or so.
After pausing quiting transmission and restarting the computer, External IP stays the same due
to using router, opening transmission with same 9 transfers after a few moments speed is restored
to 750k.
I have checked the wiki on slow speeds and all checks out fine. The port shows open "green" in preferences as well.
This is strickly uploading btw. I am not attempting to download when I see this happen.
Even now as I post this I am on a different connection/computer.
Thanks for any input.

Settings help and speed inquiry
Re: Settings help and speed inquiry
Well I have a 160MB connection where I am at, it better be good lol.
Well I can not complain about downloading because the slowdown can be at a peer,
but will another peer cause my connection (upload) to drop?
Currently as I type this the connection total upload speed is >240k at peak upload.
If I restart the computer I will once again achieve approximately 750k peak upload
speeds for a time.

So maybe 24 hours to be fair I am losing 500k upload speeds.
