1.54 refusing to start on iBook G4 running 10.4.11

I have been running 1.53 with no problems up until a tracker i use changed their whitelist to only include 1.54. So i downloaded the 1.54 release and it refuses to start. Just bounces once and thats it.

Any ideas on what might be wrong? I had over 260 torrents running so im hesitant to go around deleting preferences and things....

oh and yes it has the latest security updates installed.

post what appears after launching Transmission (it should say Transmission).

ugh... nothing appears. And filtering for "transmission' comes up with nothing either.

ok now i downloaded 1.53 and now that isn't working either... dammit

ok problem solved.

was downloading it on my netbook and using dropbox to send it to my iBook (way i normally add torrents). For some reason this must have screwed with the app somehow... I downloaded it locally on my iBook and success! its all good.
