Stop old torrent links repeatedly downloading??

Post by ryanhwks35 »

Now this is an odd one and something I can't find info about anywhere.
Basically the exact same 20 torrent links keep continually reappearing in my downloads no matter how many times I trash them.
They are links to tv shows I downloaded quite a while ago. When the torrent links appear in my downloads folder it has no effect to transmission itself and transmission doesn't detect them and doesn't try to download the files so i guess it doesn't seem to be a huge problem it's just quite frustrating having them always clogging up my download folder. When i download new torrents im not having any problems. If i try to open the files in the download folder this is the message i get "The torrent file cannot be opened because it contains invalid data."
Any ideas what the problem could be or what I may have done to cause this?
Please help, it's been bugging me for ages! :?

check where transmission is looking for torrents files.
check inactive torrents as well and make sure to dele the files from there...
also u can find the files using spotlight and make sure to trash them completly.
