Re: Transmission 2.76 crashes on centos 6

Sorry, I am not in a position help you as I have been unable to get 2.76 to build on Centos 6.3 as I keep getting an error during make, which I have now registered as a trouble ticket, but just curious if you had problems during the build?

Re: Transmission 2.41 and Transmission Remote

If the transmission team included some form of indication in the release notes that they were making changes that may impact third party products, then this would avoid the question being asked in the first place

Transmission 2.41 and Transmission Remote

Tried upgrading from 2.33 to 2.41, but Transmission Remote is only able to detect the status of downloading torrents i.e. finished, stopped or seeding statuses are not detected. The release notes did not indicate any real changes to the interface. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks

Re: Remote GUI Debugging

Thanks, I have now confirmed that Twonky Media Server is also listening on port 9091, although the documentation for this software makes no mention of it using this port. I am even more surprised that this has not caused a problem previously.

Re: Remote GUI Debugging

I have made some progress. It is now evident that I have something running on my Linux box that's grabbed port 9091, just not sure what this is or why this did not happen before. I have reallocated transmission to port 9191 and all is working fine again, but still a mystery what has taken the ...

Re: Transmission 1.83 Released

I have tried running the Unslung version of Transmission 1.83 and experience significant hashfails, to a point where the download never completes, whilst the wasted data (hashfails) just continues to increase. I have also tried versions 1.80 and 1.82 and get the same result with the significant ...
