Transmission

Actually someone help me noticing that I was wrong, you can rename top folders by right clicking once you added them, but you can't do so while importing on in the properties window in general.

Well this is not working how I expected it to work, so it would still be nice to have those kind of options.

I think I've found the option! there is a second tab under transfer that I was completelly unaware it existed!!

Currently on the peer tab I can only see two options: one for maximum connections total, and one for maximu connection for single torrents (the wording is also a bit misleading imho).

Could we have more options? Something like maximum download slots, maximum upload slots, and something along this ...

Currently on Transmission 4.0.5 we can rename files inside a top level folder, or files without a folder, but we cannot rename the top level folder itself. This would be very usefull for simple cross seeding situations. Would it be possible to have the option to do so? I wonder how difficult it ...

Found the problem. It was because of the hard drive being formatted with APFS. qbit got stucked as well as soon as I added a hundred torrents. Formatting with HFS+ completelly solved the issues. I don't know if this can be addressed at all in Transmission. What a mess from Apple.

I have a couple hundred torrent seeding. Very often I launch transmission and it doesnt seed anything at all, if I try to quit it it gets stuck and I have to force quit. In these times it has trouble finding seeders for downloads as well.

This seems to be the topic to force Transmission to go only through a VPN. Are all solutions discontinued?
